CLINICAL HYPERBARIC OXYGEN THERAPY

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) is a modality in which the entire body is exposed to oxygen under increased atmospheric pressure. The patient is entirely enclosed in a pressure chamber breathing 100% oxygen (O2) at greater than one atmosphere (atm) pressure.

Our facility is supervised by an on-site licensed M.D. specially trained in Hyperbaric Practice & Principles. Our patient care technicians are certified Hyperbaric Chamber Technicians and treat our patients with care and respect.

We feature 2 modern PERRY Sigma 34 monoplace chambers with pressure capability to 3 ATA. Our focus is on safety and patient comfort. We provide patients with 100% cotton garments & bedding and offer a variety of entertainment options via our 32″ HD monitors at each chamber.

TRANSCUTANEOUS OXYGEN MEASUREMENT

Transcutaneous Oxygen Measurement, or TCOM, is a non-invasive measurement reflecting the amount of oxygen diffused from the capillaries, through the epidermis, to an electrode at the measuring site.

TCOM provides instant, continuous information about the body’s ability to deliver oxygen to the tissue. Any impairment of the organism’s ability to deliver oxygen to the tissue will be revealed immediately.

This helps physicians in advanced vascular assessments, assessment of the non-healing wound and diabetic foot ulcer, amputation level indicator for healing, hyperbaric qualification and evaluation of revascularization.
